Extreme temperature spring-loaded single-lip PTFE rotary shaft seal

The spring-loaded lip design allows the seal to accommodate low rpm shaft runout or coaxial misalignment up to 0.020″. A metallic thermal control ring provides dimensional control under thermal cycling conditions. It is capable of handling extreme temperature, aggressive media, higher surface speeds, low to medium pressures, and can even run dry. The soft seal OD eliminates damage to housings manufactured from expensive metals. An integrated O-ring on the OD of the seal serves as an anti-rotation device and provides positive static sealing between the seal and the bore. Typical applications are gearboxes, mixers, and augers. Small quantities are available in 2-4 days.

Double-lip PTFE rotary shaft seal

The redundant seal lips enable this seal to handle higher pressure and create additional sealing capabilities, especially under flooded conditions. The soft OD eliminates damage to housings manufactured from expensive metals, and the integrated O-ring on the OD of the seal serves as an anti-rotation device and maximizes static sealing between the seal and the bore. Typically used for hydraulic motors, pumps, and transmissions. Small quantities are available in 2-4 days.

Flanged double-lip PTFE rotary shaft seal

This flanged seal design incorporates redundant seal lips that provide higher pressure and better sealing capabilities, especially under flooded conditions. The soft OD eliminates damage to housings, is capable of handling extreme temperatures, aggressive media, high surface speeds, low to medium pressures, and can even run dry. The soft seal OD eliminates damage to housings manufactured from expensive metals, and the flange serves as an anti-rotation device where media being sealed precludes the use of an elastomer. It is typically used to provide, high-pressure solution and as a secondary seal in a purging or ported system. Small quantities are available in 2-4 days.

Standard Symmetrical SC-Spring Rod or Piston Seal

For use as either rod or piston seal in dynamic sealing application. SC-spring provides a deflection range similar to the V-spring but with a relatively flat and moderate spring load versus deflection, making it ideal for friction-sensitive sealing applications. Chamfered seal lips provide for easy installation and better lubrication in dynamic sealing applications, resulting in extended seal and mating surface hardware life.

Symmetrical SC-Spring Rod or Piston Seal with Round Seal Lips

For use as either rod or piston seal in dynamic sealing application. SC-spring provides a deflection range similar to the V-spring but with a relatively flat and moderate spring load versus deflection, making it ideal for friction-sensitive sealing applications. The rounded contact surface of the seal lip promotes a thicker lubrication film on the mating sealing surface, leading to less wear and a longer seal life. The seal may weep in high-speed reciprocating applications, and is not recommended for abrasive media.
