V-rings are flexible rubber seals that stretch-fit onto the shaft and rotate with the shaft against a counter face.  They are specifically designed to protect the primary seal from contaminants. These seals are …More Info not designed to seal pressure differentials or to seal against fluid levels; they are primarily for contaminants exclusion. The seal design utilizes centrifugal force to prevent intrusion of contaminants into the bearing chamber.

– These seals are very commonly used to protect bearings on rollers in steel mills, paper mills, cement mills, machine tools, spindles, electric motors, pillow blocks, pumps, gear boxes, conveyors, rolling mills, mining equipment, agricultural equipment, among others.
