    Heavy-Duty No-Drift Bi-Directional Hydraulic Piston Seal

The design includes an integrated rubber quad ring seal in the outer filled-PTFE cap to ensure positive sealing and drift-free operation in heavy-duty service application for large diameter piston sealing applications. Designed to separate and seal two different media, e.g. fluid/gas. Commonly used in piston accumulators, mobile hydraulics and where low-friction, high-pressure drift-free sealing performance is required. Retro fits seals of similar design.

Metal-cased Spring-loaded lip medium-pressure PTFE rotary shaft seal with wiper lip

The spring-loaded lip design allows the seal to accommodate low rpm shaft runout or coaxial misalignment up to 0.020″ and high surface speeds. The opposing lip facing the environment acts as a dust wiper for dirt exclusion and as a lubricant retainer. It is capable of handling extreme temperature, aggressive media, higher surface speeds, low to medium pressures, and can even run dry. Typical applications are gearboxes, mixers, and augers.

Metal-cased single fluoropolymer lip rotary shaft seal

This high-performance seal design incorporates a formed seal lip, mechanically locked into a metal body.  This design creates very low parasitic friction under load and adds much lower heat generation than most seal designs.  This allows the seal to be used successful at higher peripheral speeds, where heat generation is the primary mode of failure for most seals.  The seal is resistant to a very wide range of chemicals allowing it to be used where elastomeric seals cannot be.  Selection of the correct lip and body material will allow use in food and pharmaceutical applications requiring FDA compliance.
