Single-lip oil seal for worn shafts

Single-lip oil seal for use on worn or grooved shafts or increased runout.

Optimized seal lip design contacts the shaft at a new contact point which enables this seal to be fitted on most grooved shafts where a repair sleeve or a new shaft would be required.  For increased runout or eccentricity, the seal lip length can be optimized.  The non-metal reinforcement element ensures concentric fitment and increased corrosion resistance over traditional shaft seals.  This style is available in a wide range of elastomers and small quantities for repairs and seal replacement and can be shipped in 1 to 3 days.  For dirty, dusty or polluted…

    R2 – Spring-loaded double-lip oil seal

Spring-loaded double-lip rotary shaft seal with non-metallic reinforcing element.

Used for oil and grease retention.

The optimized seal lip design uses a stainless steel garter spring to maintain a constant radial lip load, thus ensuring optimum sealability.  The non-metal reinforcement element ensures concentric fitment and increased corrosion resistance over traditional shaft seals.  The secondary lip acts as a dust wiper for light dirt and fluid exclusion and lube retention.  This style is available in a wide range of elastomers and small quantities for repairs and seal replacement and can be shipped in1 to 3 days.

High runout Single-lip rotary shaft seal

Solid body single-lip rotary shaft seal for high runout.

This style offers higher shaft runout (up to 0.020” and misalignment up to 0.035”) than traditional oil seals.  This seal design eliminates spring dumping.  The solid rubber design allows the seal to snap into a closed groove; alternatively, a retainer ring can be used to hold the seal in place for open groove installation.  Fitment in many challenging seal locations is possible with this design. This style is available in a wide range of elastomers and small quantities for repairs and seal replacement can be shipped in 1 to 3 days.

    Single-lip grease seal

Grease seal with thermoplastic case for press-in fitment in an open housing.  Designed to control leakage in grease-packed bearings.

The springless lip imparts low friction and heat generation. The thermoplastic case ensures concentric fitment and increased corrosion resistance over traditional seals. This is an excellent low friction seal for non-pressurized media such as grease or highly viscous fluids. This seal is also available in small quantities for repairs and seal replacements within 1 to 3 days.

    Heavy-duty double-lip oil seal

Heavy-duty double-lip oil seal for fitment in an open groove.

Designed to handle harsh or arduous conditions where most seals have a short life.  Able to be used in an open housing, even where exceptionally large cross sections are required.  Available in many case and lip materials, this seal can handle aggressive conditions and even pressurized chemicals.

This non-metal reinforcement design ensures concentric fitment and increased corrosion resistance over traditional seals.  The secondary lip serves as effective protection against airside contaminants and as a lube retainer.  Maximum service life can be achieved by applying a suitable lubricant between the two sealing lips.  Available in small quantities for repairs and…
